FPSO Operations Course

This 5-day course gives an in-depth study of all the systems and facilities on the FPSO. These will include the Reservoir, wells, underwater manifold, oil & gas processing equipment, utility systems, and turret facilities.

A manual will be produced for the course which will contain copies of visual aids, drawings and other materials used during the course.

ESD will supply all simulation models and software used on the course, these will include models of separation, glycol dehydration and gas compression systems and associated controls.

Suitable for: operations personnel who will be involved in the day to day operation of the vessel. It is assumed that the participants will not necessarily have attended the overview training course.

• FPSO reservoir, wells, flowlines and underwater manifoldo Vessel control systems both local and on the DCS, PSS system, ESD system, F&G system,subsea control system, metering systems.
  
• Oil processing facilities including separators, pumps and export
  
• Gas compression facilities including anti-surge control, performance control , compressor operations, compression principles.
  
• Gas processing facilities including, import gas, fuel gas, glycol dehydration, gas export and metering.
  
• Utility systems including, water injection, produced water, glycol dehydration, nitrogen, drain, cooling medium, etc.
  
• Turret and swivel design and operation, Marine systems, including Stability Control and Tank Atmosphere control.
