This 2-day course is designed to provide an in-depth analysis of the
production of methane gas from coal seams and the associated production
and processing facilities required.
Coal Seam Methane is often referred to as Coal Bed Methane. The course will explore the principles and details of production and processing based on the need to handle the variable nature of gas/water mixture produced from the coal seams. The general trend for Coal Seam Methane (CSM) facilities is to make the processing as simple as possible whilst at the same time producing gas which is readily transportable by pipeline or suitable for turning into Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
CSM has major environmental advantages by reducing the amount of emissions to the atmosphere. This course considers the environmental issues associated with CSM production.
The subject matter is wide ranging and complex, but by the use of case studies, video and dynamic simulation the course aims to provide delegates with a good working knowledge of the CSM industry.
Suitable For: This course has been designed for persons of all engineering disciplines who require a good working knowledge of the industry.
Operations personnel who are working in the CSM industry.
Process personnel who may be transferring from other parts of the oil & gas industry into CSM production area will find the course fulfils their needs for an in-depth overview.
