An exciting development for ESD during '07 has been taking ownership of
its own PEARL control room simulator (Click here to download the full description)

Reflecting the behaviour of a real plant, this process model consists of the main process areas typically found on an oil & gas plant therefore enabling training on realistic process operation. From starting up the plant, bringing it to full production and then shutting it down again, all operations are able to be performed in a controlled way using the ESD production simulator.
