Looking to invest in the skills of your workers? The Canadian Government and Government of Alberta are here to help. The Canada Job Grant is part of the Government of Canada and Government of Alberta’s commitment to help address skills mismatches and ensure that employees are being trained in high-demand areas. This platform supports the initiative to train the workers you need.
The Canada-Alberta Job Grant is an employer-driven training program. This means that employers decide on who gets training and what type of training may be needed for new and existing employees. Employers are required to use a third-party training provider, like ESD Simulation Training, to deliver the formal training either onsite, online, or in a classroom setting.
The CAJG is available to training taking place in Alberta, and is intended to fund incremental training programs in Alberta by covering 2/3 of the costs. The participants are required to complete a minimum of 24 instructional hours of training. At ESD Simulation Training, we currently offer two courses that fit these requirements*.
