This two-day course is designed to give a comprehensive overview of the production, storage and transfer of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in a marine environment.
The course also considers the subject of offshore reception terminals and the re-gasification of the LNG for onward transmission to the onshore distribution network. The emphasis is on the safe handling of LNG in the open sea with specific reference to the role of the FPSO and the conversion of standard LNG carriers to FPSO service.
