ESD Simulation Training is happy to announce that in-person training has returned for all regions except for Australia. See below for information on this transition including a list of FAQs...
For all courses outside of the Australia region, in-person course delivery will begin immediately. Each course listing date will indicate the specific location where the course is scheduled to take place. Depending on the city, the courses will either be delivered at one of our partnered or one of our own training facilities. Courses are subject to change and may be delivered online either by request or due to a number of factors including health guidelines, travel restrictions, etc.
With this transition, the safety of our delegates and the communties that we operate in remains our top priority. We will adhere to all public health guidelines as well as implement a range of our own health and safety protocols. There will be sanitizer stations avaliable around the venue as well as masks avaliable upon request.

The return of in-person course delivery applies to all regions except for Australia. Unfortunately, the current public health guidelines and travel restirctions in Australia makes it too difficult to run any in-person courses. For the time being, all courses in the Australia region will remain online and information about online course protocols can be found below.
Register for the course as usual through our website. You will need to have a computer available during the course so that you can sign into the course on Zoom. ESD will send you an additional laptop to use for running the simulation models. You need to have both computers available during the course.
Once your registration is confirmed you will receive a Zoom link to be able to join the course at the scheduled time on the day of the course
A few days before the course, you will receive a laptop from ESD which is pre-loaded with all the simulation software models that will be used during the course. You will also receive a manual and any other training materials required.
On the day of the course , sign into the course about 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to make sure you are able to resolve any connection issues before the start of the course.
Your trainer will join the course before the scheduled start time and will be online with you for the duration of the course. The online course is specifically tailored to provide the same quality as a classroom version of the same course.
Are online courses still avaliable as an option?
Yes. Online courses are avaliable upon request or depending on changing COVID-19 guidelines.
Can I travel to attend an in-person course?
When travelling to attend one of our courses, please observe and adhere to all local public health guidelines.
Do I need to wear a mask during the course?
This will be based upon the course location and the local health guidelines within that community.
What health and safety measures are in place?
All public health guidelines will be adhered to along with sanitizing stations throughout the venue and masks avaliable upon request.
What if COVID-19 health guidelines change and the course cannot be delivered in person?
In this case, you will be given the option to defer registration to a later course date or to take the course in an online format.
How does this affect Private Training?
This transition now allows us to offer private training for organizations at our facilities or we can deliver it in-person at your location, wherever you are in the world. Completing the course online also remains an option if that is desired instead.
What if I become sick or am required to self-isolate during the dates when the course is taking place?
If this situation occurs, you will be able to defer your registration for the course to a later date. If completing the course is time sensitive, you may complete it online instead.
Are there differences in the course material?
There are no differences in the course material between online and in-person courses.
When will in-person courses become avaliable in Australia?
Due to the current frequent lockdowns and travel restrictions within Australia, we don't predict being able to deliver any in-person training in this region until January 2022 at the earliest. This date is an estimate and subject to change on short notice.
As we continue to navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are committed to providing the same high quality training experience. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about our in-person and online training procedures.
