Description

The course studies both the principles and practicalities of well operations including a description of the mechanical design of wells for both natural and artificial lift. The study of the phase behaviour of well fluids and the process of three-phase separation at the wellhead is also covered as is the design and operation of a typical wellhead separation plant.

Key Topics Covered:

  • Oil and Gas Reservoirs
  • Reservoir Management
  • Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR)
  • Design of the Well
  • Well Operations
  • Fluid Behaviour
  • Three-Phase Separation
  • Wellhead Separation Plant
  • Operation of a Wellhead Plant
